Stanford University – Department of Psychology

The Stanford University Department of Psychology conduct many research studies on such topics as aggression, social behavior, competitiveness, dreaming, color perception, spatial relations, learning and memory. Researchers rely on participants to keep this research going and to connect with participants researchers often use their ‘paid’ participant pools (consisting of volunteers who join the pool to participate for payment).

Researchers pay between $5 and $15 per study and studies usually take between 30 minutes to an hour to complete. Compensation is usually paid in the form of Amazon Gift certificates. Participants can also take part in non-paying drawing studies, in which their participation enters them into a drawing for one or two larger Amazon.com gift certificates.

Use this link to become a participant in their ‘paid’ pool and please remember to select ‘Paid’ as your class, while requesting an account, to gain access to paid studies. Once you have requested an account your username and password will be mailed to your e-mail address.

Note: They usually do not send survey invites every time when a study is open and hence you will have to log-in to your account frequently to complete their studies.
